TIG/GTAW wire is intended for the surfacing and repair of new high-speed tools. It exhibits excellent wear resistance and durability against softening at elevated temperatures. The weld deposits can only be ground. Typical applications include cutting tools, gouges, broaches, turning tools, and drills, as well as similar high-speed tool steels. It is suitable for surfacing a wide range of mild, CMn, low alloy, and engineering steels.
